Machine Operator - Demolding - 2nd Shift - Houston, TX

Functions:

• To perform all work duties safely, as well as maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture.
• Receive training as required.
• Perform other duties/positions as required/assigned.

Tasks:

• Perform daily forklift inspection and submit documentation to supervisor.        
• Review the cook schedule. 
• Ensure product is demolded and is placed in proper combo as required.
• Inspect all logs and properly bag any damage ends.
• Ensure supplies needed for demolding are properly staged for production. 
• Generate scan tags for combos through EIM system. 
• Supply pallets and combos to demolder.
• Remove full, labeled and inspected combos on pallets to warehouse by forklift. 
• Be able to scan items into inventory through scanner. 
• Ensure  any broken logs are removed and placed into inedible barrels or are identified for rework.
• Reconcile log count to cook information.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Enter all required information into the Safety Chain/Plantview QA System.
• Be able to set-up and teardown equipment. 
• Complete all required production documents and submit to supervisor.
• Report any issues related to maintenance or quality of the product to supervisor
• Safety Chain/Plant view, SAP and EIM experience preferred.  
• Must be able to become forklift certified or have one prior forklift operating experience.

Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Must be willing and able to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds (with assistance).
• The Team Member is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.  
• Ability to operate equipment using a touch screen. 

Requirements:

• 3 months work history with the same employer
• 6 months of machine operator experience
