- DURATION: Summer 2025, 10 weeks
- SALARY RANGE: $20.50-$25.00/hr
Overview:
Assist the UX Design team with user research, ideation, and the creation of intuitive and engaging digital experiences for our users. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the end-to-end UX design process and contribute to products that impact real people.
What You Will Do:
- Assist in conducting user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand user needs and pain points.
- Support the creation of wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Help maintain and evolve our design system and component libraries.
- Assist in identifying user pain points and opportunities for product improvement through qualitative and quantitative data.
- Support the synthesis of research findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for the product team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Product Managers and Engineers, to ensure design feasibility and implementation.
- Assist in planning and executing A/B tests to validate design decisions and optimize the user experience.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience Design, Psychology, or a relevant field of study.
- A portfolio demonstrating your UX/UI design process and projects is highly encouraged.
- Familiarity with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to clearly articulate your design rationale.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $20.50 - $25.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
