Summary
A premier software, research, and consulting firm in the field of industrial-organizational psychology, PDRI designs, develops and implements human resource solutions that incorporate the most recent advances in the behavioral sciences and adhere to the highest principles of professional practice.
PDRI’s IT Services Division is seeking a talented, motivated Technical Lead to design client solutions in our low code SaaS platform, manage software delivery of high-profile client projects, as well as several other related tasks.
Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in the IT field. Requires knowledge of commonly-used IT concepts, practices, and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities
- Follow Agile best practices.
- Define technical requirements for system enhancements, track development progress, and lead QA efforts to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Create complex client solutions in our low code SaaS platform.
- Conduct technical research on system upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with current systems.
- Interface with other groups within PDRI, customer organizations, and outside contractors to successfully deliver high quality software and services.
- Create and maintain system documentation, to include requirements and system designs. Prepare detailed flow charts and diagrams outlining systems capabilities and processes. Document system issues and resolutions for future reference.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience leading complex software development, delivery, and operations
- 3+ years of experience as a software developer
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Excels at multitasking and can lead multiple concurrent initiatives
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
Preferred:
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with NoSQL or Relational Databases
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Certified SCRUM Master
