Category Manager - Off Premise

As a Category Manager at Red Bull, you will play a key role in developing and executing category strategies for our Retail and Impulse customers. You will work closely with both Key Account Managers and Field Sales, acting as a bridge between our insights and the commercial reality in stores.

Your Role

• Category strategy & development: Develop and execute category plans for Retail & Impulse customers, aligned with overall business objectives, while meeting shopper needs and positioning Red Bull as the category leader.
• Turning insights into actions: Translate market trends, sales performance, and shopper insights into actionable product, pricing, and promotional recommendations for the KAM and Field Sales teams. Own key reporting deliverables, including Category Updates, Distribution Reviews, and Customer Scorecards.
• Space management: Track Red Bull and category share, and recommend planogram and space changes to maximize visibility and growth.
• Customer engagement: Lead impactful category presentations, dedicated customer activations, and joint projects with top retail partners to drive category performance and strengthen relationships.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in category management, preferably within FMCG
• Proficiency in using market data (Nielsen) and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Power BI is a significant advantage
• Strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and commercial understanding
• Strong ability to translate insights into action
• Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills
• Strong project management and collaboration skills
• Education: Relevant higher education
• Languages: English (written and spoken)
