Position Title: Jr. AFC Systems and QC MI Officer
Job Summary
- The position is responsible for ensuring data quality in all the Management Information (MI) reports for Authorizations, Fraud and Chargeback. The duty includes generating, organizing, storing and analyzing data while preserving security and confidentiality standards.
- The position is also responsible in the independent generation of performance reports of the AFC business units. He or she is also tasked to provide support for any adhoc report generation requests from AFC business units.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Data Management
- Manages generation of scheduled reports within the specified turn-around time
- Generates and develops MI reports that would be used for
- Daily Reports
- Weekly Reports
- Monthly Reports
- QC Day2 reviews
- AFC Performance reviews
- Other AFC related needs
- Supports AFC business units in the generation of Ad-hoc reports as needed
- Centralizes and safeguards reports generated for the whole AFC
- Maintains integrity of reports by utilizing tools and risk mitigating measures aligned with the business requirements
- Conducts regular review of the MI inventory to ensure that only relevant MIs are being generated and maintained.
- Conducts periodic review of the report programs to ensure accuracy and that the program is still up to date
- Manages the MI request process that would ensure documentation of all new, revised, and sunset reports.
Manages AFC server capacity to eliminate possible report generation disruption
- Collaborates with AFC business units in order to come up with report architectures that would support their other business needs.
- Helps the different AFC teams in identifying possible opportunities in improving performance efficiency
Data Analytics
- Establishes an independent report that would be used for tracking performances of Authorizations, Fraud and Chargeback
- Analyses the reports and provides insight on the unit /team/ department performances.
- Provides recommendations for improvements based on the data presented
Other Tasks
- Creates and updates Procedure Manuals on a regular basis or when deemed necessary.
- Assists the AFC SQC head in the periodic review of the AFC QC framework.
- Serves as primary back-up for Fraud MI team
- Checks accuracy of created fraud rules prior to deployment
- Supports the AFC-SQC team in various activities such as QuRe, CSAT, etc.
- Performs other tasks, responsibilities, projects which may be assigned from time to time (e.g. BORC, BCP, Cost Champion, Corp. Correspondent, Line trainer, e-Champ, etc.)
- Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the AFC Systems and Quality
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree holder; preferably graduate of Statistics or Information Technology/ Software Programming course
- Has at least 2 years of work related experience in a financial institution preferably from a credit card company. Fresh graduates with SAS background are welcome to apply.
- Microsoft Office, SAS – Advanced level
