Job Description

• On-site role in Giurgiu, Romania, at client’s shipyard (naval industry).
• Perform fabrication, assembly, and installation of ship structures according to shipbuilding drawings and standards.
• Cut, bend, shape, and fit steel plates, pipes, and structural components.
• Carry out fitting and tack welding to prepare structures for final welding.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and maintain a safe working environment.
• Work closely with welders, pipefitters, and supervisors to complete assigned construction stages.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality.
• Proven experience as a Boilermaker / Ship Fitter in shipbuilding, heavy steel industry, or similar.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret shipbuilding drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of steel fabrication, fitting, and welding preparation processes.
• Skilled in using cutting, bending, and measuring tools.
• Safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and a team player.
• Languages: English (basic/medium).
• Availability to work on-site in Giurgiu; occasional travel may be required.
