We're looking for an experienced HR professional to join our busy People Solutions team to partner closely with Operational Managers, providing HR and Employee Relations advice and support. To be successful in this role you will need a strong understanding of UK employment legislation and experience of providing HR and Employee Relations advice.
Here are the core skills and experience we're looking for you to bring:
- Previous experience in a HR or People team role, and/or strong team management experience with a genuine passion for moving your career into HR
- Solid understanding of people processes, employee relations and employment law, with the ability to interpret and apply policies clearly for leaders and employees
- Experience providing advisory support to People leaders and delivering change projects
- Proven ability to build strong and trusted relationships across all levels
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to find practical solutions
- Understands and acts with inclusion and diversity principles at the forefront
- Attention to detail and ability to use data to inform insights
- A CIPD or HR qualification is beneficial but not essential
This is a 9 month fixed-term contract with an immediate start. The office base will be 1-2 days per week in Colindale, NW London with occasional travel into central London.

You'll be joining a close-knit team of People professionals. Your closest colleagues will be fellow People Solutions Advisors but you will also work across the wider people team to provide joined up solutions. Your role will require close collaboration with key Operational People Leaders to provide advise, coaching and guidance across a range of employee relations and people queries.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our People Team as a People Solutions Advisor, working across our Operations teams to deliver impactful people initiatives. You’ll work on a variety of projects, manage employee relations cases and support people development and wellbeing, playing a key role in shaping leaders, teams, and the wider business.
What You'Ll Do
- Deliver activities that engage and retain outstanding teams by providing HR advice, case management and change support, building strong relationships with leaders, managers and the wider people team to deliver high-quality people solutions.
- Lead ER case management, ensuring timely actions, clear manager responsibilities and compliance across hearings, investigations and appeals, while advising on risk and maintaining best practice.
- Enable leaders to confidently manage conduct, absence and performance issues by coaching for development, providing tailored support and empowering them to make decisions and role model our DNA.
- Deliver proactive performance management support by ensuring leaders understand our UW policies and frameworks, applying consistent approaches to driving team performance.
- Analyse ER data and trends to identify themes, knowledge gaps and recommend targeted actions to continuously improve people experiences, processes and interactions.
- Design and deliver initiatives to enhance the people experience, including reducing attrition, embedding new policies and partnering with belonging groups to translate insights into improved practices and leader development.
- Deliver people compliance and change programmes, collaborating closely with the wider People team and People Business Partners on project planning and execution, ensuring initiatives align to business objectives.
- Manage cyclical activities such as culture temperature checks and engagement surveys, helping people leaders interpret results and take meaningful action that builds trust, inclusivity and performance.
