About The Client

You’ll join a dedicated feature team (pod) owning a full product or key functional area for a global leader in digital entertainment. The pod will have end-to-end responsibility for delivery and innovation, working closely with the client’s Product Owner and Architect.

As a QA Automation Engineer, you’ll ensure product quality through automation-first testing practices, while also applying functional testing where automation is not yet feasible.

What You’Ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications (Java/React environment)
• Build and execute automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing
• Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, and the client’s Product Owner to refine acceptance criteria and test strategy
• Perform exploratory and functional testing for complex scenarios or new features before automation coverage is built
• Participate actively in sprint ceremonies, providing QA perspective on planning, design, and readiness
• Track, report, and verify defects to closure, ensuring stable, high-quality releases
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices, including CI/CD integration of automated tests

What You Bring

• 3+ years of professional QA experience, with at least 2 years focused on test automation
• Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or WebDriver I/O
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript (Python or Java test experience is a plus)
• Hands-on experience with API test automation (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools)
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile delivery models
• Comfort performing exploratory/functional testing alongside automation when needed
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab)

Nice To Have

• Familiarity with cloud-based environments (AWS or Azure)
• Background in performance testing or security testing
