Job Description

The Administrative Staff Analyst II will serve as an EEO Data and Compliance Specialist. In this position, the Specialist will focus on data management, compliance tracking. and reporting functions to ensure the Department meets all EEO requirements established by NYPD, City, State, and Federal regulations. The duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Track and ensure the Department is compliant with applicable EEO laws and policies
- Prepare and distribute EEO reports in compliance with NYPD, City. State. and Federal requirements
- Prepare quarterly and annual reports on NYPD EEO Program Policy and Procedures
- Assist in updating EEO Program Policy and Procedures processes and reports
- Evaluate, monitor, and analyze the efficacy of the NYPO EEO Program Policy and Procedures
- Generate historical and statistical data reports from NYPD and DCAS EEO databases to support management reviews, audit inquiries, and strategic planning
- Track and maintain NYPD's compliance with all mandatory EEO training
- Create compliance reports for the EEO Officer
- Maintain accurate EEO data systems and records
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather data, clarify reporting requirements, and ensure accuracy of EEO records
- Provide general administrative and project support to the EEO Officer and OEEO as needed
- Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned or required

Qualifications
1. A master's degree from an accredited college in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies or a closely related field, and two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in one or a combination of the following: working with the budget of a large public or private concern in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research; in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation; in personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, employee benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor market research, economic planning, social services program planning/evaluation, or fiscal management; or in a related area. 18 months of this experience must have been in an executive, managerial, administrative or supervisory capacity. Supervision must have included supervising staff performing professional work in the areas described above; or
2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four years of professional experience in the areas described in "1" above, including the 18 months of executive, managerial, administrative or supervisory experience, as described in "1" above.
