Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Physician Recruiter to lead and manage full-cycle recruitment efforts for physicians and advanced practice providers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare recruitment, strong sourcing and relationship-building skills, and a strategic mindset to attract top-tier medical talent in a competitive market. This role will serve as a trusted partner to clinical leadership, HR, and executive teams, ensuring recruitment strategies align with organizational goals and workforce planning needs.

What You’Ll Do:

  • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for physicians and advanced practice providers across multiple specialties and locations.
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans using various channels (job boards, databases, networking events, professional associations, social media, etc.).
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through proactive engagement and relationship management.
  • Partner with department chairs, medical directors, and hiring managers to define position requirements, timelines, and selection criteria.
  • Screen and assess candidates for clinical competence, cultural fit, and alignment with organizational values.
  • Coordinate interview schedules, site visits, and candidate travel as needed.
  • Ensure a seamless candidate experience throughout the hiring process, from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Negotiate offer terms and facilitate the offer process in collaboration with compensation and legal teams.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment data, metrics, and reports in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Represent the organization at physician recruitment fairs, conferences, and networking events.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, workforce data, and competitive intelligence to inform recruitment strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of physician recruitment, preferably in a multi-specialty function.
  • Proven track record of success in sourcing, attracting, and hiring physicians.
  • Experience in high growth fast-paced organizations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in recruitment software, application tracking systems (UKG is a plus) and other related systems.

Compensation

Compensation is commensurate to compensation for similar positions in the region and based on prior training and experience
