Support high-level Navy logistics operations as a Logistics Action Officer in Arlington, VA. This role delivers critical program support to OPNAV N4L, ensuring the effective integration and execution of Navy logistics initiatives that directly impact readiness and modernization.
Essential Duties
Strategic Logistics Program Integration
- Coordinate logistics program funding strategies in support of the N4L Director’s Integration Group (DIG)
- Lead internal DIG meetings to advance program priorities and strategic alignment
- Participate in monthly Navy Modernization Process Team (NMPT) meetings
Tasker & Document Management
- Manage tasker lifecycle including assignment, tracking, and quality assurance
- Notify stakeholders of responsibilities and ensure timely, accurate completion
- Review and provide recommendations on Ship Change Documents (SCDs) with supporting documentation
Executive Communication & Briefing Support
- Develop professional presentations and decision briefs for senior leadership
- Synthesize complex logistics data into concise, executive-level deliverables
- Support ad hoc taskers and evolving operational priorities
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, logistics, or military operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with acute attention to detail
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting government or military clients, preferably in an on-site capacity
- Proficiency in ETMS2, DONTRACKER, or similar tasker management systems
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends and support decision-making
- Ability to communicate technical data in executive-ready formats
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, or a related field
