Job Description

The Vice President of Operations for the Americas is a key member of the senior leadership team responsible for overseeing the operational performance & strategy for operating and new properties within the Americas region.  This individual will drive excellence in guest experience, financial performance, brand standards, owner relations and property-level leadership across the collection, ensuring each destination delivers the distinctively one of a kind Auberge experience.

Operational Oversight:

  • Strategic operational oversight of assigned properties, ensuring alignment with Auberge’s brand, values, and standards of excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with each property General Managers, and performance team to optimize guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators including ADR, RevPAR, GOP, NPS, employee engagement, and quality assurance scores.
  • Oversee owner relations with all stakeholders earning trust and building confidence.
  •  Responsible for the key areas that contribute to the positioning and strategy of an opening or property transitioning into the collection 
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategy and decision-making.

Strategic Leadership:

  • Support the development and execution of long-term strategies to grow revenue, increase profitability, and maintain industry-leading guest service.
  • Participate in the planning and opening of new properties, ensuring smooth integration and operational excellence from day one.
  • Partner with key departments, Wellbeing and Food & Beverage to drive performance, ensure consistent processes and experiences 

Talent Development:

  • Mentor and develop property-level leadership teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement.
  • Active involvement in identifying and selecting key leadership (General Manager) for the region
  • Champion Auberge’s people-first philosophy by building an inclusive and empowering work environment.

Brand Stewardship:

  • Ensure consistent delivery of the Auberge brand experience across all properties, while respecting and enhancing each property's unique character and story.
  • Partner with Marketing and Experience teams to enhance guest journeys and drive guest loyalty

Financial Management:

  • Review and analyze property P&Ls, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Drive margin improvement and operational efficiencies while maintaining luxury service standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Serve as a key liaison between property operations and corporate departments including Finance, HR, Marketing, Culinary, and Design.
  • Work with Development teams on pre-opening planning, renovations, and capital projects.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hospitality operations, with multi-property responsibility preferred.
  • Deep understanding of luxury hotel and resort operations, with a track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences and strong financial results.
  • Inspirational leader with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams in a values-driven culture.
  • Experience within luxury residential operational oversight 
  • Willingness to travel extensively to properties across the portfolio, approximately 60% travel throughout the Americas
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • Ability to live and work within the United States without sponsorship
