This roster is 8 days on and 6 days off and a 12 hour day.

About The Role

This is a refreshed leadership opportunity within a newly restructured maintenance team at Cowal. As Mobile Day Shift Supervisor, you’ll report directly to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent and lead a full day shift crew, including tradespersons, apprentices, and tool store staff.

You’ll be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, mentoring your team, and driving performance across safety, reliability, and cost control. This role offers strategic involvement in budgeting, planning, and continuous improvement — ideal for someone ready to step into a broader leadership scope.

• 8/6 day shift roster with 12-hour days
• Leadership of day shift crews, apprenticeces and contractors across site-wide assets
• Strategic involvment across budgeting, reliability, and planning coordination

    About You  

You’re a trade-qualified maintenance professional with a strong leadership mindset and a track record of getting things done. You’ve likely spent time as a Leading Hand or Acting Supervisor and are ready to formalise your next step.

You Bring:

• 5+ years’ post-trade experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
• Cert IV in Leadership & Management and G1–G9 qualifications (or willingness to complete)
• Strong communication, planning coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills
• A proactive approach to safety, mentoring, and continuous improvement
