As the Business Analyst, you will have strong experience in data analytics projects, to work with the Operations Delivery and Integrated Planning domains, focusing on optimisation and decision-making initiatives.  The successful candidate should have strong skills in data analysis and business intelligence, working across technical and business teams to define KPIs, business rules, and data solutions.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Lead discovery efforts to understand requirements and translate them into actionable analytics and data needs in collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate requirement into data requirements and analytical solution supporting data products and semantic layers.
• Work with external technical vendors, product leads, technical and data scientist team to support solution and product delivery.
• Elicit, capture and key document business, functional, non-functional requirements and data and processes using effective business analysis techniques and tools.
• Facilitate Agile work practices such as sprint planning, estimation, daily stand-ups, reporting, and retrospectives to drive delivery of cross-functional teams.
• Serve as a trusted data advisor to stakeholders, supporting strategic and operational use of optimised data.
• Understanding of data testing, reference data management, and data quality practices.
• Assist with evaluating solutions with data teams and help define acceptance criteria to ensure the delivery of business needs.

To be considered for this role, you will have: 

• Proven experience in technologies, methodologies and standards product/ project deliverables.
• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in relevant IT area, Aviation Engineering experience will be highly regarded.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake will be advantageous.
• Experience using Power BI for dashboard development and analytics delivery.
• Strong communications skills (verbal, written, presentations).
• Experience with Agile project delivery methodologies.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
