As an Internal Communications Specialist, you will be at the heart of a dynamic, newly formed Internal Communications team. Your role will be crucial in ensuring seamless execution of internal communication activities and events by taking charge of logistics, scheduling, and content coordination. With a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills, you'll help drive the efficiency of our operations, enabling senior team members to focus on high-level strategic goals. From managing day-to-day tasks to supporting impactful events, you’ll play a key part in shaping how we engage and connect with our internal audience. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to a growing team and make a visible impact on the organization’s internal culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and execute internal communication campaigns by coordinating timelines, logistics, and content needs, ensuring consistent, timely, and impactful messaging across the organization.
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging internal events, managing end-to-end logistics to create meaningful and memorable experiences for employees.
- Maintain and update internal content across key communications channels, ensuring accuracy, consistency with messaging guidelines, and ease of access for all employees.
- Manage the internal communications calendar, aligning key messages and activities across teams to minimize overlap and maximize visibility and impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to source stories, align messaging, and tailor communications to engage diverse internal audiences effectively.
- Monitor and report on the performance of communication initiatives and events, using data, analytics, and feedback to drive continuous improvement and enhance employee engagement.
- Support the management and evolution of internal communication tools and channels, helping to maintain a modern, user-friendly ecosystem that meets the needs of a fast-growing organization.
- Contribute to a high-performing internal communications team by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve engagement strategies, and strengthen company culture.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–5 years of experience in internal communications, events coordination, or communications support, ideally within a corporate or fast-paced, multinational environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong writing and proofing abilities tailored to diverse internal audiences.
- Experience supporting or coordinating internal events, both virtual and in-person, from planning through execution.
- Familiarity with intranets, content management systems, and digital communication tools such as Slack, email platforms, and employee portals.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and functions, building strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment, with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Experience using analytics or employee feedback to inform and improve communications and engagement initiatives.
