Job Description
We are seeking a C&I Automation Engineer to strengthen our Project Engineering team. The successful candidate will bring comprehensive expertise across automation systems, including automation controllers, relay protection, RTUs, IT network devices, communication protocols, and control systems. A solid understanding of local legislation and Transmission System Operator (TSO) practices is required.
Previous experience in renewable energy projects—such as wind power, photovoltaic (PV) solar, and energy storage—will be considered a valuable asset. This position offers the opportunity to apply broad technical knowledge to complex projects within the energy sector.

- Your key areas of responsibilities will be:
- Managing and supervising the implementation of electrical equipment across LV, MV, and HV substations as well as renewable power plants, including relay protection, automation controllers (PPC, PLC, RTU), IT network devices, and communication protocols
- Evaluating grid connection requirements and prepare design tasks, technical requirements, and specifications for owner’s equipment and systems
- Reviewing and approving technical specifications, design solutions, equipment proposals, factory drawings, documentation, testing procedures, and detailed design schematics
- Supervising and approving factory acceptance tests, installation, pre-commissioning, site acceptance tests, and grid code compliance testing
- Reviewing and approving as-built documentation, including test reports, operation instructions, and manuals, ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering
- Experience in electrical engineering, automation, and power system projects including distribution/transmission networks, power plants, and substations
- Electrical network automation, controllers, transducers, PLCs, RTUs, SCADA systems, communication devices, and IT/network protocols
- Knowledge and experience in relay protection engineering, electrical automation, controllers (e.g., voltage controllers, battery chargers, power plant controllers), and testing procedures
