Mandatory internship in logistics

Summer Semester 2026 – limited to 5–6 months

Your Tasks:

• Actively support the operational workflow and on-time delivery of customer orders at the fully automated SICK Distribution Center in Waldkirch-Buchholz
• Take part in coordination meetings on daily and capacity planning
• Collaborate with operational team leaders on daily planning (prioritization) and daily coordination (staff scheduling)
• Familiarize yourself with the warehouse management system and initiate appropriate measures in case of bottlenecks
• Maintain optimized parameter settings
• Provide first-level support in case management and assist with process analyses of incidents
• Prepare key figures for order forecasts and gain experience in SAP modules (COP & EWM)

Your Profile:

• You are enrolled in a degree program such as Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a comparable field of study
• You have an affinity for IT applications; ideally, you already have initial knowledge of SAP
• Strong team spirit and communication skills
• A customer- and solution-oriented mindset
• An independent and reliable way of working
