Information About The Position

We are looking for an in-house Legal Counsel with a focus on contracts revision,  contract lifecycle management and processes related to Vinted Group contracting. In this role, you will be working closely with people across Vinted as well as with a network of external advisors and you will report to the Legal Counsel of Contracts and Legal Operations Team.

We are looking for someone with a track record in contract negotiation, who is highly motivated, has ambition, strong communication and project management skills and a firm commitment to finding tailored solutions to the unique issues that tech businesses encounter. For the right candidate, this will be both a challenging and rewarding role.

In This Position, You’Ll

• Draft, adapt, review, amend and negotiate contracts critical to the business (with support from external counsels where appropriate);
• Lead contract negotiation projects of high value and importance to the organisation identifying areas requiring specialist input and collaborating with colleagues across various functions to deliver this expertise;
• Consider, monitor and advise on legal and regulatory risks associated with contracts, related documents, business lines and new projects;
• Work in close coordination with the Vinted Finance (Procurement) and other legal teams such as Privacy, IP, Vinted Go by being the bridge of information regarding various contractual matters taking place day-to-day;
• Take charge of assigned legal issues across all relevant jurisdictions where Vinted operates;
• Develop  templates, processes and policies relating to negotiating and concluding contracts to ensure highest contracting standards are met consistently;
• Track and maintain the contracts management system and signing tools within Vinted group of companies;
• Investigate and propose innovative new technologies to streamline day to day work within the team;
• Initiate process efficiency improvements; and
• Work together with the other teams on various other projects throughout the organization.

About You

• A lawyer with relevant experience in a law firm or as an in-house counsel.
• Demonstrate knowledge of commercial contracts review and negotiation techniques, preferably with focus on contracts in the technology sector.
• Have a high level of commercial acumen and good drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
• Show attention to detail and accuracy when completing tasks.
• Have excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and an ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from a diverse range of backgrounds and specialisations. 
• Have a genuine interest in building lasting relationships within the business.
• Be a problem solver who is solution focused, business oriented and pragmatic: a true generalist business partner.
• Be passionate about technology-driven businesses.
• Licensed to practice law in the U.S. is a plus.

The salary range for this position is € 3,758 - € 5,092 gross per month.
