Job Description

  • Manage demand planning, supply planning, inventory management and supplier collaboration based on product groups within supply chain processes.
  • Develop category-specific strategic plans to maintain maximum product availability.
  • Ensure coordination between purchasing and operations teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Manage and improve OTIF (On Time In Full) performance.
  • Establish effective communication and collaboration with suppliers, monitor supplier shipments and provide guidance when necessary.
  • Analyze the causes of incomplete shipments, measure supplier performance and develop improvement plans.
  • Manage daily inbound carton quantities and balance warehouse workloads efficiently.
  • Create action plans to achieve zero stockouts and high product availability targets.
  • Monitor and directly manage optimal stock and safety stock levels in stores and warehouses, as well as stock and availability processes.
  • Execute approval mechanisms in collaboration with the stock committee for periodic and bulk purchasing processes.
  • Make agile and results-oriented strategic decisions based on changing demand and supply dynamics.
  • Conduct risk analyses to manage both foreseeable and unforeseeable supply issues.
  • Manage the team under your supervision and ensure team development and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related fields.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in supply chain, demand/supply planning or related areas.
  • Minimum 3 years of team management experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Proficiency in English at advanced level.
  • Experience with enterprise software such as JDA, SAP and BI tools.
  • Strategic mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and goal/result-oriented work approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and commercial negotiation skills.
  • Customer satisfaction focus and prioritization skills.
  • High motivation to achieve goals.
