Job Description

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Manager, Consumer Products to contribute to our team in our La Vergne, TN office. 

As a key member of Ingram’s new Consumer Marketing business, you will manage the development and operations of the Ingram iD platform, an automated advertising platform where publishers and authors can advertise to readers. You will identify development needs for the product, factoring in user feedback, growth expectations and market opportunities. As the manager, you’ll work closely with Consumer Marketing leadership to translate strategy into a product roadmap, technical specifications for the development team and timelines. This will involve overseeing day-to-day operations of the product, including service execution, customer support, oversight of ad creation and ownership of third-party ad platform accounts. You will also monitor the digital advertising industry to stay abreast of advertising trends, building them into the iD product vision and development roadmap. Finally, you’ll supervise iD support staff.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or year-for-year equivalent experience
  • 6 years experience in marketing/digital advertising or product/project management
  • 1 year prior experience managing a team directly or as leader of cross-functional projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing an advertising product

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partners with IT to prioritize the development of the platform, balancing competing priorities according to the iD strategy and vision while also supporting sales growth goals.
  • Monitors platform operations, ensuring everything is working properly, or, when necessary, troubleshooting problems, providing customer service to users, and escalating IT solutions with developers.
  • Translates business strategy into technical requirements to be executed by internal and external development teams, including documenting product needs and creating customer journey maps. 
  • Ensures the timely execution of the products’ roadmap, outlining key milestones, tracking progress, and providing regular updates to management and other stakeholders.
  • Oversees customer support for product-related inquiries, including research and adjustments within third-party advertising platforms like Meta, Google and Amazon.
  • Leads development meetings including stand-ups, retrospectives, planning, and internal demos.
  • Manages platform reporting

Hiring Salary Range: $95,295k - $120,834k.  This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
