Job Description
To provide subject matter expertise, lead and drive the design, implementation, and maintenance of endpoint solutions and integrated communication systems within a dedicated infrastructure applications portfolio (SBSA) to ensure a secure and efficient work environment as well as seamless communication and collaboration across various platforms. To protect the organisation's computer systems and networks from cyber threats, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in AV/VC support and collaboration technologies.
- Experience in large-scale MTR or AV deployment projects.
- Prior experience in a large, multi-tenant organization in a consulting or operations role.
Experience And Skills:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AV/VC & Microsoft Teams Room (MTR) Support Engineer to join our UC&C Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft 365 technologies, AV hardware, and enterprise support models.
- This role is responsible for the planning, deployment, and support of meeting room technologies across a large, multi-tenant organization.

- OEM Certifications (Preferred):
- Crestron
- Poly
- Logitech
- ITIL Foundation or equivalent IT Service Management certification (preferred).

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Delivery & Support:
- Lead and participate in requirements gathering for AV/VC and MTR solutions.
- Plan, deploy, and support Microsoft Teams Rooms and integrated AV systems.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for incidents related to MTRs, AV panels, and meeting space technologies.
- Develop and maintain troubleshooting guides, playbooks, and training materials for regional service desk teams.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell and Power Automate.
- Liaise with vendors for hardware replacements, escalations, and SLA compliance.
- Integrate hardware and software metrics to generate performance and usage reports for business stakeholders.
- Support rollout and adoption of Microsoft Places for workspace intelligence and location-based collaboration.
- Assist in the enablement and configuration of Teams Premium features such as advanced meeting protection, analytics, and branded experiences.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to leverage Microsoft Copilot capabilities for productivity and reporting enhancements.
- Provide support and administration for Microsoft Exchange Online, including mailbox policies, transport rules, and hybrid configurations.
Project & Process Management
- Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and dependency tracking for AV/MTR deployments.
- Contribute to governance forums to improve room booking processes and user experience.
- Oversee vendor contracts and manage relationships with AV hardware providers.
