Objectives of the Position

  • Responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operations, and safety of facilities across multiple locations within a designated region.
  • This role ensures that all buildings and grounds are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and aligned with company standards.
  • The manager will lead local facility teams, coordinate with vendors, and implement cost-effective strategies to optimize facility performance.

Main Tasks

  • Oversee day-to-day facilities operations across multiple sites in the region.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor preventative maintenance programs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Manage facility budgets, including forecasting, expense tracking, and cost control.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify maintenance and compliance issues.
  • Oversee capital improvement projects, renovations, and expansions.
  • Support space planning, office moves, and workplace optimization.
  • Respond to emergencies and critical maintenance issues promptly.
  • Provide leadership, training, and performance management for site-level facility teams.
  • Report facility performance, risks, and improvement opportunities to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years experience , preferably in large multinational corporation and/or real estate brokerage, with experience across multiple countries. 
  • Experience in office workplace transformation preferred. 
  • Experience in Facilities Management / IFM and Industrial Real Estate is a plus 
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, etc.).
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor performance.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, ADA, fire codes, and other compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities; ability to manage teams across different locations.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
