About The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Operations Planner to help support material planning for our growing business. You will leverage your problem-solving abilities, motivation, and experience to determine target inventory levels and generate PO proposals that support sales and inventory goals while optimizing cost. We are looking for a self-starter that will drive process improvement by building out and improving processes and tools as the business scales up.

You Will:

  • Create buying recommendations for raw materials, packaging, and/or collateral based on forward-looking usage projections
  • Perform a weekly inventory reconciliation to ensure the data reflects accurate inventory numbers
  • Work with cross-functional partners in Supply Chain and Operations to solve inventory overages and shortages
  • Understand and articulate key drivers for changes in usage that result in under-/over overstock situations
  • Mitigate supply risk by carrying appropriate levels of stock
  • Track upcoming expirations and work with the site to quarantine and dispose of the product

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Merchandising, or other related field
  • 3+ years experience in at least 1 of the following: Production planning, Supply planning, Material planning, Inventory planning
  • Proficient in inventory management concepts with an understanding of the financial and operational implications of planning decisions
  • Excel proficiency including experience with data manipulations – Lookups, PivotTables, External Data Connections
  • Basic SQL and/or Python experience is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to think through complex problems and resolve conflicts that arise from balancing multiple priorities
  • Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized
  • Demonstrated ability to organize resources and analyze alternatives to make effective decisions
