About The Role:
The Director, Brand Marketing is responsible for spearheading the development and execution of brand campaigns and initiatives designed to build brand awareness, drive growth, and advance Chief’s mission to support senior executive women.
Balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution, this role requires demonstrated experience in building (and evolving) premium brands, leveraging insights, and managing large-scale, omni-channel consumer campaigns across teams to support growth objectives. This role must have their eye on the latest consumer and cultural trends that matter to the Chief community, knowing when (and when not) to capitalize on trending moments.
This role reports to the VP of Brand & Marketing and works in close collaboration with cross-functional partners, including PR, Partnerships, Growth Marketing, Member Marketing, and Sales teams, supported by those from creative, operations, and analytics functions, to develop and execute integrated ideas.
What You’Ll Do:
- Develop and implement compelling 360° brand campaigns, initiatives, and tactics that align with brand goals and that resonate across all channels, including Social, Member Marketing, Growth Marketing, Editorial, and Partnerships throughout the year.
- Collaborate with the VP of Marketing to guide cross-functional teams and ensure a cohesive narrative across all Chief touchpoints.
- Lead Chief’s organic social strategy (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube), including calendar planning, content development, influencer relations, partnership amplification, and community engagement.
- Develop detailed monthly and quarterly overviews of brand KPIs, including social metrics, organic lead reporting, and actionable insights, to inform future strategies.
- Provide brand and creative direction and guidance to maintain brand integrity and ensure that the appropriate creative and messaging are integrated across major company projects.
- Act as the “voice of Marketing” to internal, Member-facing teams, empowering their ability to represent Chief to the public.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with external creative and communications agencies, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery of high-quality projects.
- Partner with Member Marketing team to manage Chief’s branded merch strategy for members, including the conception and design of products.
- Effectively manage budget in partnership with the VP of Brand Marketing and Finance teams.
What You’Ve Done And Enjoy Doing:
- 10+ years experience in brand marketing, digital marketing, creative and/or advertising.
- Experience managing bold omni-channel consumer marketing campaigns that build brand awareness, drive growth, and evoke an emotional connection.
- Experience using data and metrics to back up assertions of business value.
- Experience managing and maintaining active connections with internal and external creative teams and agency partners.
- Developing full-funnel brand marketing strategies that leverage engaging, innovative content.
- Project management with a track record of end-to-end project ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
- Thrive in both independent and collaborative work environments; nimble, resourceful, and detail-oriented.

The base salary for this role is: $190,000
Chief participates in the E-Verify Program in certain locations, as required by law.
