Today, organizational programming focuses on humanitarian and disaster response, community strengthening and resilience, and refugee & immigrant services and advocacy.

This position is reliant upon funding and may be subject to modification or termination based on resource availability.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Portfolio Development Manager (PDM) and Office Directors to implement local engagement strategies that align with national campaigns
  • Provide copywriting and contextualization support for marketing playbook deliverables, including:
  • Email appeals
  • Social media captions
  • Landing pages
  • Digital advertisements
  • Support major campaign execution through content development and messaging alignment.
  • Coordinate and support email marketing efforts, including segmentation strategies for local offices (LOs), ensuring alignment with HubSpot workflows and national efforts.
  • Source, draft and submit 1–2 stories per month from LOs for use by national teams, while also helping train local staff/volunteers in ethical storytelling and informed consent practices
  • Manage and maintain CRM systems, including:
  • Blackbaud NXT data entry and management
  • HubSpot segment/list collaboration
  • Workflow support for story fulfillment, social media, and event lead generation
  • Provide tailored coaching and systems support in higher-capacity offices and more direct execution in lower-capacity offices.
  • Leverage SharePoint and other internal resources for content access and collaboration.
  • Participate in ongoing training and apply best practices in HubSpot, digital engagement, ethical storytelling and other advancement strategies

Job Requirements

  • Mature and personal Christian faith
  • Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
  • Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
  • Able to affirm World Relief’s Core Beliefs and Statement of Faith, and acknowledge World Relief’s Christian Identity and National Evangelicals For the Health of The Nation document
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in social media and/or mass email marketing, preferably in a nonprofit or donation-based organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Others required to complete the essential job functions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong copywriting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of CAN-SPAM Act and GDPR regulations to ensure email compliance
  • Knowledge of key paid advertising marketing metrics and KPIs
  • Understanding of paid advertising best practices, including list management, segmentation, A/B testing, automation, optimization
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email template customization is a plus
  • PMP certification is a plus
