Te Tūranga – About the role
As a Quality Assurance Engineer - SAP, you will be responsible for championing best-practices in SAP testing and ensuring delivery excellence across Agile squads.
You will be a key contributor to our QA Practice, advocating for quality outcomes and driving continuous improvement in customer value delivery.
In this role, you’ll: - Actively contribute to Agile SAP Delivery Squads, collaborating across disciplines to achieve sprint goals. - Develop and execute Micro Test Plans to validate user stories within each sprint. - Design and implement Macro Test Plans to ensure end-to-end testing of quarterly BRP features and integrations. - Foster proactive collaboration and engagement within delivery squads. - Support, build, and enhance test automation frameworks, delivering on our automation-first strategy. - Engage with the QA Practice to evaluate and adopt emerging testing technologies and methodologies. - Operate within the FSNI QA Strategy while recommending improvements for enhanced delivery. - Advocate for quality delivery and contribute to sprint commitments beyond traditional testing roles. - Maintain and improve the integrity of test environments. - Log and manage defects with detailed documentation, collaborating with squads and Product Owners for resolution. - Support Agile planning and contribute to evolving product rollouts

You’re a collaborative QA professional with deep SAP testing experience and a passion for quality. You thrive in Agile environments and bring a proactive mindset to solving complex challenges.
You’ll bring: - Extensive SAP testing experience, particularly in Retail (Planning and Merchandising, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales and Distribution, Financials). - Experience testing EDI and third-party vendor integrations. - Proficiency in Fiori Apps and front-end testing across devices and environments. - Comprehensive knowledge of SAP implementation lifecycle and functional design. - Experience designing and/or developing automated testing scripts to evaluate SAP implementation functionalities - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Proven experience working in Agile environments, demonstrating familiarity with Scrum or Kanban methodologies. - Expertise in defect management and resolution. - Strong analytical skills to solve complex problems across squads and business units. - Experience in test data management and integration testing. - Experience in knowledge management and documentation (e.g. Confluence / Sharepoint) and testing artefact management (e.g. HP ALM, qTest, Xray, Zephyr, TestRail, etc.) - Ability to quickly grasp complex integrations and articulate system architecture. - Ability to advocate for quality delivery and apply Agile testing practices in an SAP environment. - Effective collaboration (i.e. with Functional Consultants), stakeholder management, and decision-making skills. - Self-motivated with mentoring and coaching adaptability.
It’s a bonus if you also have: - Experience with Tricentis TOSCA or similar Automated testing tools. - Experience with non-functional testing in SAP (e.g. load/performance testing) - Experience with Change Impact Assessment tools (e.g. Tricentis LiveCompare) - SAP certification (any module) - Experience with Jira, Jira issue life cycle, and Jira dashboards and reporting - Experience in the FMCG industry
