Purpose Of Role

Kinross' Technical Services team is looking for a 12 -16 month intern to be a part of the Metallurgy Department.

Job Responsibilities

The Analyst Intern, Metallurgy will assist the corporate metallurgy department in its duties such as:

• Assisting with studies, major projects, or operations support.
• Conducting technical research
• Data processing and writing technical documents Assist with document reviews and site visits.

Minimum Requirements

1. 2nd or 3rd Mineral Processing, Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering program with an excellent academic record
2. Lodgings in Toronto for the duration of the placement
3. Knowledge of metallurgical testing methods and data interpretation
4. Strong communication and presentation skills
5. Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently with little direction

Skills

1. Language skills in French, Arabic, Portuguese, or Spanish
2. Experience working with culturally diverse teams
3. Active extracurriculars
4. Strong Excel skills, knowledge of advanced functions
5. Experience working with Microsoft Office suite
