As the Principle, Global Benefits Manager, you will oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of PagerDuty's worldwide benefits programs. Working closely with senior leadership, you will ensure alignment with organizational objectives and legal compliance across multiple regions including the United States, Canada, Portugal, Chile, UK, Australia, The Netherlands, and Japan. Collaborating with both team members and cross-functional stakeholders, you will oversee program budgets, maintain market competitiveness, lead vendor management and deliver high-quality service globally. Additionally, you will serve as a strategic resource, providing counsel on benefits offerings and regulatory compliance. This role demands a seasoned HR professional with experience in benefits operations, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to addressing employee needs.

You Will;

  • Design, implement, and evaluate PagerDuty's global benefits programs, encompassing health and welfare benefits, wellbeing, leave management and retirement benefits.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align programs with organizational strategic objectives and ensure compliance with legal requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Provide strategic direction for the Benefits Service Delivery Partner team, ensuring timely resolution of 2nd tier employee benefit inquiries, strategic benefit communication initiatives, and collaborative partnerships.
  • Develop functional strategies and specific objectives for the team.
  • Utilize market data surveys and industry networking to evaluate trends and maintain market competitiveness of all benefits offerings.
  • Lead the development and management of program budgets for assigned areas.
  • Uphold the benefits philosophy, ensuring equity, and offerings alignment with company values and market standards.
  • Provide consultation and serve as a resource to leadership, HR Business Partners, and Recruiting on benefits programs, policies, and practices.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of Human Resources experience with a focus on managing Compensation & Benefits functions for a global organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, management, or related field required, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in using data and analytics to manage performance, develop insights, and support decision-making.
  • Knowledge of benefits regulations in the United States, Canada, Portugal, Chile, UK, Australia, The Netherlands, and Japan.

The base salary range for this position is $131,000 - $220,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.

Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
