Maintenance Technician 1 - Day Shift

We are currently looking for a Full-time Maintenance Technician! We offer a minimum of $19.95/hour.
The schedule for this position is 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. There is also on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, repair and maintain all facility systems relating to mechanical, electrical, electronic and construction.
• Diagnose and correct basic mechanical equipment malfunctions.
• Perform routine tests and inspections of mechanical and electrical equipment and systems and maintain service and repair records.
• Follow the schedule of preventative maintenance as assigned by supervisors.
• Act as the first respondent when the fire alarms systems activate.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a maintenance mechanic.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• On-Call rotation with other Plant Ops associates.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Virginia Driver's license and the ability to be insured under the employer's policy.
• Must have CFC (Certified Chlorofluorocarbons) or the ability to obtain it within the first year of employment.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience.
