As the People Operations Coordinator, you’ll be the go-to partner ensuring VTS runs smoothly and employees feel supported from day one. You’ll own key people processes like onboarding, benefits support, and payroll coordination, while serving as a first point of contact for our team. This role is a great opportunity to grow your People Operations skills and make a direct impact on the employee experience.

Please note that this opportunity is located in New York, NY, and requires this hire to work from our office four days a week. ** 

Here's what you can expect as a People Operations Coordinator:

  • You’ll build relationships with our amazing team and support our fast-paced business
  • Partner with the People Operations team to coordinate and implement initiatives related to people processes, benefits and company-wide projects.
  • Lead the new hire People Operations and Benefits orientation sessions, making a great first impression for all new VTS team members
  • Support ad-hoc reporting and track progress on key People initiatives
  • Coordinate and document core talent processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and new hire communications
  • Manage monthly benefits billing reconciliation and act as the first point of contact for benefit-related inquiries.
  • Oversee administrative tasks for HRIS and benefits systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team on global payroll reviews
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions on benefits and People processes

To thrive in this role you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking abilities, and organizational skills.
  • You are solutions driven and love solving problems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You have a receptiveness to learning and an inquisitive mindset
  • Love working with details and find accuracy important to your work ethic
  • Ability to multitask and be flexible in your day to day work 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times

Pay Transparency

At VTS, we pride ourselves on articulating a clear and transparent philosophy around equitable, impartial compensation that will allow us to recruit and retain an exceptional team. The base salary is market-driven at the time of offer and is based on tier 1 market data. The salary for this role will range between $60,000 and $70,000 and is determined by several factors, including your skills, prior relevant experience, quality of interviews, leveling, and geography.
