About The Job
As a Strategic Recruitment Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in upholding our recruitment standards while focusing on recruiting across our functional and syndicate business. You will partner with senior stakeholders across the organisation to understand their recruitment requirements and provide strategic guidance and support throughout the hiring process. Your primary goal will be to attract, select, and retain top talent, ensuring a diverse and high performing workforce.
What you’ll spend your time doing:
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders and HR Business Partners and hiring managers to develop a deep understanding of their recruitment needs.
- Promote inclusive hiring: Actively contribute to initiatives that attract, hire, and retain a diverse workforce, ensuring all talent is welcomed and supported.
- Strategic recruitment planning: Work with stakeholders to develop effective recruitment strategies and plans, aligning them with the overall business objectives and ensuring they attract high quality candidates.
- Sourcing and attraction: Utilise a variety of sourcing strategies and channels to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates for support function positions.
- Selection and assessment: Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including resume screening, phone screenings, and interviews, to identify the best fit for each role and team.
- Candidate experience: Ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding, fostering a positive employer brand.
- Recruitment metrics and reporting: Track and analyse recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, identify areas for improvement, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Talent acquisition initiatives: Contribute to the development and implementation of talent acquisition initiatives, such as employer branding, diversity and inclusion programs, and employee referral programs.
- Market research and benchmarking: Stay updated on market trends, best practices, and competitive intelligence in recruitment for support functions, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Compliance and process adherence: Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, company policies, and recruitment processes, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Stay ahead of market trends: Represent the company at conferences, networking sessions, and industry events to maintain deep market intelligence.
What You’Ll Need:
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Business Partner or in a comparable talent acquisition role.
- Experience within the insurance market is desirable, with previous Lloyd’s syndicate experience highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to create and nurture inclusive talent pools while driving diversity, equity and inclusion across all recruitment activities.
- Solid understanding of recruitment best practices and knowledge of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders, understand their needs, and provide strategic guidance and support.
- Strong sourcing and attraction skills, with the ability to utilise various channels and tools to attract high quality candidates.
- Excellent interviewing and assessment skills to accurately evaluate candidates qualifications and cultural fit.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience using Workday to manage recruitment and talent workflows is desirable.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and selection.
