We’re looking for an inspiring Chief Engineer to join us as we embark on our next evolution of AI-powered engineering, with a specific focus on digital experience.
Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll be a key member of our engineering leadership team, architecting and delivering resilient, secure, and intelligent systems that power millions of customer interactions every day. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment across service domains, and help drive the engineering direction within and across your domain.

What you’ll be doing
As our Chief Engineer you’ll have the platform and influence to build, shape, and scale the future of our tech ecosystem for our products.
- Lead the overall design and engineering for multiple domains, with a strong emphasis on digital customer experience and more specifically, specialising in customer payment and ai experiences.
- Provide technical ownership of key assets and roadmaps, setting the agenda for strategic initiatives.
- Drive innovation through emerging technologies, foundational AI models (Claude, OpenAI, Copilot), and world-class engineering practices.
- Champion security, quality, and compliance from the first line of code, mentoring others to build outstanding, resilient applications.
- Define engineering standards, select frameworks (TypeScript, React, server-driven UI, .NET), and accelerate time to production.
- Foster an inclusive, high-performing engineering culture, building and mentoring diverse teams.
- Translate complex technical concepts into compelling strategies, influencing executive and cross-functional stakeholders.
