Responsabilities
In this role, you will ensure accurate and efficient handling of securities transactions and related operational processes. You will play a key part in managing tax reclaim procedures, monitoring securities transfers, and supporting investment-linked life insurance products (Branch 21/23). Your analytical skills and process-driven mindset will contribute to smooth client servicing and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • As a Financial Securities Service Analyst, you are responsible for:
  • Tracking and reconciling securities transfers between custodians, counterparties, and internal systems.
  • Managing and processing withholding tax reclaims with local tax authorities and other parties till refund to customer accounts, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Providing operational support and analysis for Branch 21/23 life insurance products by management of subscriptions and refunds of insurance products.
  • Monitoring settlement cycles and investigate discrepancies in transaction flows.
  • Collaborating with internal teams (legal, compliance, accounting) to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Preparing periodic reports and documentation for internal and external
  • stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the implementation of process improvements and system enhancements.


Skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to details and respect for regulatory requirements.
• Client focused, with excellent communication skills and team spirit.
• Strong organizational skills, able to deal with multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accountancy, or a related field. Knowledge of securities operations, tax reclaim processes, and/or life insurance products (Branch 21/23), or willing to acquire this.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and experience with banking/financial platforms. Excellent knowledge of the two local languages (French/Dutch) and proficiency in English.
