The Role

The Analyst / Customer Intelligence (CLS) plays a critical role in supporting our global customer strategy by leveraging data, analytics, developing new (AI) tools and providing AI-driven insights to strengthen customer understanding. As part of the CLS team, you will analyze customer, industry, and portfolio data to inform decision-making, shape customer strategies, and support account management and deepen customer insight.

This analyst-level position will work closely with senior Prologis management in Europe and global, with the global CLS team and cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide customer demand and growth analysis, identify relevant industry trends, and capture customer insights from diverse sources (customer meetings, investor reports, Prologis sales and operations systems).
  • Deliver data-driven insights on customer profitability, segmentation, and retention strategies and pipeline analysis.
  • Produce quarterly market and customer sentiment report, which is shared with Prologis senior leadership team, and which supports preparations for Quarterly Earnings Calls.  
  • Design, develop, and maintain customer-intelligence tools, dashboards, and models (using Tableau, SQL, R, Python, or equivalent).
  • Identify supply chain and logistics trends on regular basis.
  • Drive adoption of AI-powered analytics to enhance customer segmentation, market sentiment analysis, predictive insights and facilitate continuous efficiency gains for the CLS team.
  • Ensure data integrity across multiple systems (Salesforce, Yardi, Qualtrics, Excel, relational databases).
  • Partner with CLS officers and cross-functional teams (Operations, Research, Finance) to provide relevant analytics that support rental growth and retention.
  • Capture and share customer intelligence in Salesforce, ensuring insights are embedded across the organization.
  • Benchmark competitor practices in customer management to identify best-in-class approaches.
  • Support strategic account planning and refresh customer targeting (including segmentation frameworks such as CAT scores).
  • Conduct research projects such as customer/industry studies, rent roll analysis, indexation, budget reviews, customers’ ESG strategies, target customer studies and vacancy reporting.
  • Contribute to global data initiatives and collaborate with other regional CLS teams.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in customer analytics, business intelligence, or financial/data analysis.
  • Understanding of key account management processes and sales support related analysis preferred.
  • Understanding of the 3PL, logistics, industrial & logistics real estate industry and key financial metrics is a bonus.

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in data analysis languages (SQL, R, Python) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Advanced Excel and CRM (Salesforce, Yardi) and Powerpoint knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability to build AI/ML solutions that enhance customer insights and business decision-making.
  • Strong English language skills.
