As a Software Engineer Co-op on the TRSS team, you will be working on projects that support and extend the full stack of the TRSS solutions suite. This role requires a full stack engineer who is comfortable with data-intensive systems and frontend UI development. There will be opportunity to learn about new technologies and engage in new development.

About The Role

As a Software Engineer Co-Op, you will define, scope and manage one or more projects ensuring technical objectives are achieved. As a Software Engineer Co-Op, you will also contribute to a variety of areas, including:

  • Learning new technologies and frameworks, and software development best practices.
  • Participating in the review of specifications and the estimating process.
  • Writing well-designed, well-constructed, and well-tested code.
  • Supporting programming changes during quality assurance and product rollouts.

About You

You’re a good fit for the role of Software Engineer Co-Op if you have the following:

  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written) to different audiences.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Desire to continuously learn new skills and technologies.
  • Team player mindset
  • Understanding of computer science principles and algorithms.
  • Experience coding in either Java or Python.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship essential to comply with government contract/agency or department of Federal Government requirements.
