AWE is currently recruiting for a People Services Partner Lead, to lead a team of HR professionals to deliver high-quality, customer-focused HR support across the business.

As the People Services Partner Lead, you will be responsible for proactive delivery of HR guidance into the business through your team of People Services Partners, that supports execution of HR strategy, drives a High-Performance Culture & drives down case creation into AskHR, HRIS, Employee Relations & the Workplace Investigations Team.
This role also serves as a critical link between the business and the wider HR team, ensuring that functional needs are communicated effectively and that central HR programmes, such as performance management, employee engagement, and wellbeing, are embedded and adopted locally.
You will be responsible supporting organisational change and using data-driven insights to inform decision-making and continuous improvement. Accountabilities include:
- Lead the People Services partnering team, ensuring consistent, compliant HR support across the employee lifecycle, aligned with business needs and strategic plans.
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders, translate business needs into HR actions, and champion the adoption of people policies, processes, and technologies.
- Use data and feedback to drive service improvements, support central HR initiatives, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
Who are we looking for?
We’re seeking a skilled HR leader with experience developing and managing a team. Previously supporting employee relations issue resolution, delivering training to managers, monitoring key people metrics, and leading resource planning to align workforce needs with business goals.
We do need you to have the following:
- CIPD or equivalent HR Qualification, or relevant experience.
- Experience in HR, with a focus on operational HR roles.
Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we’d like you to have experience in some of the following:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in HRIS and data analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
You’ll need to have the ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority changing environment and be able to manage your own workload. You will also have initiative, enthusiasm, a flexible approach, and ability to work to tight deadlines.
