Position Overview:
The Enterprise Data Office (EDO) provides strategic direction and guidance for effective data management and governance across all divisions within Freddie Mac. The EDO metrics team broadly supports the divisions on data governance and information risk management reporting.
This position will perform data governance and reporting activities under the EDO metrics team’s manager, working closely with technology teams, other divisional and enterprise data governance teams, audit, compliance, and business partners to report on data governance, risk, and compliance activities; coordinate events and issues; perform risk assessments and control testing; and propose process improvements .

Your Impact:
As a Enterprise Data Governance Senior, you will assist the team in managing information risks to improve our risk management and data governance process and strengthen our control environment. This role provides opportunities to broaden your technical and risk acumen while being part of an inclusive team striving to deliver the following:
- Develop robust metrics and comprehensive reports using Tableau and Power BI tools, that align with our strategic goals and provide risk indicators for informed decision making.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather feedback and enhance metrics using modern delivery methodology.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all reports and dashboards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and visualization.
- Support development and implementation of the overall data governance framework and strategy for the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Oversee the development and enforcement of data quality standards, ensuring data is accurate, consistent, and reliable across all systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: business intelligence and data management (data governance, data domains, master data management, metadata management, data lineage and cataloging).
- Proven experience in developing and managing data metrics using Tableau (desktop, prep flow and server) and Power BI.
- Hands-on data analysis experience working with large dataset extracts from a variety of sources.
- Experience with data catalog tools.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office O365 Suite of tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience working on a fast-paced Agile Team -Modern Delivery.
- Experience writing UAT test cases, user Stories, and working with business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to data integrity.
- Experience working with multiple partners, leading day-to-day tactical activities in alignment with the information strategy.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $102,000 - $154,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program.
