Job Position

• Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking Software Engineer a talented and motivated Python Developer to join our team.
• Reporting to Team Lead, associate will help refine and grow the capabilities of current systems, driving continuous improvement to meet our engineering needs.
• Associate will be responsible for designing, developing, and sustaining new product introduction related health care application systems.
• In this role, associate will also promote best practices and internal business processes.
• Associate will be responsive and able to adapt quickly to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.
• Associate will work in a data driven environment, have a desire to drive change, and be excited by the opportunity to analyze systematic issues and implement solutions to challenging problems. 

Job Responsibility

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using Python
• Proficiency in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code. 
• Strong knowledge of SQL for database querying and management. 
• Familiarity with Python web frameworks such as Django or Flask. 
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to develop data strategies and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Work with SQL and/or NoSQL databases to manage, retrieve, and store data efficiently. 
• Develop and support data pipelines and automate routine processes using Python scripts. 
• Contribute to the development of APIs and web services using Python frameworks
• Debug and resolve issues in existing code and systems. 
• Help optimize applications for performance and scalability. 
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices in APIs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including senior developers and project managers, to gather requirements and deliver projects. 
• Write unit tests, support automated testing, and contribute to the maintenance of technical documentation. 
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of cloud services (GCP/AWS).
• Participate in code reviews and help enforce development best practices. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an eagerness to learn. 
• Should understand and have operating experience with Agile delivery model 

Qualification

• Full time IT Engineering or equivalent degree (preferably in Computers )
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience. 

Experience

• Hands-on experience in Python and SQL
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Overall IT experience of 3+ years
