Function:

  • Be the primary point of contact for all SC related matters at the project site.
  • As the need arises, manage sourcing activities from strategy to contract execution, demonstrating a thorough understanding the various commercial models available and the criteria for evaluation of bidders, ensuring effective and timely formation of project RFx’s and contracts.
  • Provide sound supply chain management advice, guidance, and strategy support to Project team and SC leadership, including project risk identification and mitigation.
  • Monitor the issuance of contract documents, and their revisions, as they occur (i.e. issued for construction drawings, change notices, directives, etc.) and ensure the timely delivery of contract deliverables.
  • Lead the complete Supply Chain Management of Change (MOC) process including the creation of change documents, review of contractor change documents and issuance of change documents.
  • Initiate or expedite Change Orders including identification of work scope and development of price and schedule impact.
  • Report on the status of change documents and ensure timely resolution in accordance with the contract terms.
  • Maintain contract filing system and adhere to all Document Control processes and procedures.
  • Prepare formal correspondence to Contractor(s) for review and approval by Project Manager and/or Site Construction Manager.
  • Review and ensure appropriate distribution of correspondence pertaining to Contract terms and conditions.
  • Create and maintain daily journals for assigned Contracts and expedite input from other disciplines.
  • Create and maintain weekly internal SC reports for assigned Contracts.
  • Attend, create minutes of meetings, and maintain records of all weekly progress meetings, and other meetings as required.
  • Verify Contractor’s progress payment certificates and corresponding invoices based on approved work performed.
  • Verify Contractor’s milestone payment certificates and corresponding invoices.
  • Confirm receipt of appropriate and correct Lien Waivers/ Releases on each and all invoices, where applicable, and maintain records as applicable.
  • Attend weekly progress meetings.
  • Review and evaluate Contractor's requests for additional compensation or extension of time and prepare assessment of entitlement for approval by Project Manager and/or Site Construction Manager.
  • Log, review, and evaluate contractor request for changes, and facilitate prompt communication to their resolutions in accordance with established change procedures.
  • Prepare notices of completion and close-out documentation.
  • Monitor liens and garnishees registered against project if applicable
  • Assist the Claims team and Claims Analysts in the analysis of claims and process and reports value leakage and root cause analysis.
  • Identify issues, risks, and improvement in the contract administration process as the Project moves forward.
  • Ensure relevant Company policies, processes and procedures are adhered to.
  • Effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders, as required (i.e. Legal, Counter Party Risk, Accounting, etc.).
  • May involve cross-country/cross boarder travel
  • Frequent engagement with multiple internal and external stakeholders at various levels of leadership
  • Believe in and champion company’s safety culture.

Requirements:

-At least 3 years of experience manage contracts (oil &gas sector).

-Bachelor'S Degree

-Bilingual (Spanish-English)
