Position Summary:

Job Description

Adjunct faculty serves as temporary faculty and are appointed as needed on a semester-by-semester basis. The primary responsibility includes teaching of college-level courses and/or labs in the qualified discipline, service and support of college policies and procedures, and professional development.

Job Duties:

• Prepare and maintains course syllabi, objectives, and outlines for instruction of students
• Evaluates and counsels' students
• Supports the program manager in program assessment
• Assists the program manager with program operations and periodic review of course materials
• Maintains current knowledge and expertise through continuing professional development
• Maintains certification and licensure in his/her respective discipline
• Follows Hillsborough Community College's policies and procedures for didactic/adjunct faculty

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT (N) OR NMTCB (N)) or appropriately educated to the course teaching
