Marketing & Communications Specialist

Compensation Range:

$21.92 - $34.39

Position Summary:

Job Description

• Promotes, attends, and documents events via social media, press releases and photography.
• Assists in social media efforts.
• Promotes campus and program events and activities for internal and external audiences.
• Provides digital communication support including email marketing.
• Assists with special events coordination and planning.
• Collects media and disseminate for developing content for internal and external promotion.
• Provides support for college wide communications efforts.
• Performs related duties as required or deemed appropriate to meet department, division, and college goals.
• Minimum Qualifications:
• •Bachelor’s Degree
• •Two years of prior-related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• •Bachelor of Public Relations, Mass Communications or Marketing.
• •Excellent written communication skills for marketing including grammar, proofreading. Knowledge of AP style. Knowledge of HootSuite.
