We are seeking a visionary and execution-focused digital leader to serve as Vice President of Building Products Digital Platforms, responsible for the digital strategy, product roadmap, and delivery of customer-facing experiences across SRS Distribution. This role will lead the expansion of Roof Hub into a multi-vertical platform while aligning with SRS’s aggressive growth agenda and The Home Depot’s broader digital ecosystem.
You’ll lead a high-impact team spanning product management, digital programs, adoption, and partner integrations—working closely with engineering, UX, operations, and sales leaders to deliver scalable, customer-first digital tools that drive adoption, loyalty, and measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Execution
- Define and communicate a bold multi-year roadmap for Roof Hub and customer-facing platforms, with defendable ROI.
- Lead the end-to-end digital strategy across web, mobile, self-service, and integrated jobsite tools.
- Scale workflows that streamline quoting, estimating, ordering, scheduling, and delivery management.
- Embed a culture of experimentation, A/B testing, and personalization to optimize adoption, conversion, and loyalty.
- Drive innovation while ensuring operational excellence in platform scalability, performance, security, and integration.
- Align digital strategy with SRS and The Home Depot enterprise vision while prioritizing contractor-specific needs.
- Establish KPIs for adoption, retention, engagement, and financial impact; report progress to executive and board stakeholders.
Customer Experience & Adoption
- Champion a customer-first mindset by deeply understanding contractor workflows, pain points, and expectations.
- Design and implement programs to recover at-risk experiences, improving satisfaction, trust, and repurchase intent.
- Connect omni-channel experiences across branches, field operations, and digital tools to deliver seamless contractor journeys.
- Build adoption strategies in partnership with sales and operations teams, tailoring communication and training to local and national needs.
- Continuously monitor the market and competitive landscape to inform positioning, differentiation, and innovation.
Team & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead and grow the Roof Hub & Digital Platforms team across product, programs, adoption, and partnerships.
- Build, scale, and inspire a high-performing team through periods of transition and rapid growth.
- Partner with engineering, UX, marketing, sales, and compliance to ensure cohesive product delivery.
- Develop clear processes for experimentation, optimization, and execution to sustain growth at scale.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to embed digital into business planning and frontline operations.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop talent; foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and accountability.
Platform & Partner Ecosystem
- Scale Roof Hub as the contractor’s “operating system,” integrating quoting, property data, ordering, and delivery into a single platform.
- Manage the digital vendor and partner ecosystem, ensuring ROI, security, and long-term scalability.
- Oversee platform architecture, cloud infrastructure, and integrations with enterprise data and systems.
- Own the digital P&L, balancing operating expense with growth investments and margin impact.
- Represent SRS in enterprise-level digital initiatives, ensuring contractor and trade needs are prioritized and delivered.
What You Bring
- 10+ years leading digital product, platform, or transformation initiatives—preferably in B2B distribution, construction tech, or trade services.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable revenue growth, cost efficiency, and customer impact through digital platforms.
- Experience managing full digital P&L, securing capital investment, and defending ROI.
- Deep expertise in experimentation, analytics, personalization, and optimization practices.
- Strong understanding of contractor workflows, with empathy for field-driven, project-based operations.
- Demonstrated success rebuilding and scaling high-performing digital teams through change.
- Technical acumen in cloud, architecture, integrations, and enterprise data ecosystems.
- Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels—defining vision while driving day-to-day outcomes.
- Bonus: Experience in building products, or construction software workflows (estimating, quoting, job management).
