Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated FX Research Support Intern to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for graduates with a strong interest in economics, finance, capital markets, and derivatives, who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a practical setting. The successful candidate will support the FX research team in maintaining databases, meeting client data requests, and assisting in the preparation of research documents and presentations. Core requirements include strong analytical skills, proficiency in statistical software, and a keen interest in financial markets.
Key Responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Assist the team in collating information/data for forecasting or report preparation
- Prepare templates for research documents ahead of publication
- Update PowerPoint and Power BI presentations, ensuring data for charts is accurate and forecasts align with other publications
- Maintain the profit/loss record of trade recommendations, pricing trade ideas in spot, vanilla, and exotic options, and interest rate futures
- Update, maintain, and develop quantitative tools and databases for the UK research process
- Support the integration of existing research quantitative tools into the global research platform
- Investigate opportunities for developing new quantitative tools and identify projects to enhance the team’s forecasting ability

Experience
• Experience using statistical/econometric packages such as EViews, R, Python
Required Skills

- • A genuine interest in financial markets and good team skills.
Technical Skills Required
- • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Access, and Power BI
- • Programming experience in VBA, Python, R, and EViews
