Now you have the chance to work as a Senior Software Engineer - Cloud in a friendly team consisting of skilled cloud developers working with cutting edge cloud technology.

Who is your future team?

You will be part of the Connected Infrastructure team within R&D. This team develops and operates core functionality in the Axis Cloud Connect (https://www.axis.com/solutions/axis-cloud-connect) platform.

What you’ll do here as Senior Software Engineer - Cloud

You will be building (The Dev-part) services that make up the core features of Axis Cloud Connect and together with the rest of your team operate (The Ops-part) these. The tools at your disposal will be GitHub, AWS, OpsGenie, DataDog, Jira, to name a few. You will write the services primarily in Go, but sometimes we use other languages such as TypeScript and Python.

In this role you will get a unique possibility to work with very skilled cloud developers that are building a platform that enhances the security, feature set and operational efficiency of Axis world leading network products.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an open-minded and driven person with strong collaboration skills. You have a solid DevOps mindset and enjoy the challenge of building cloud services that can handle high load and scale reliably. You take pride in owning what you build — from development through deployment — and are comfortable with the operational responsibilities that come with it, including participating in a shared on-call rotation. You understand that reliability is a team effort, and you're committed to maintaining high availability while keeping on-call work sustainable and well-supported.

We'd love to hear that you have/are:

• A few years of experience building cloud services in Amazon Web Services
• Fluent in any modern backend language, preferably Go or TypeScript
• Experience with Terraform or other IaC languages
• Like working in an agile environment
