Glasgow – Hybrid – 3 days in the office
Role Overview
Our primary focus is to build strong relationships with new customers while expanding and nurturing existing ones. Using proven sales techniques from our in-house training programme, you will work towards achieving specific, measurable targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and engage key stakeholders and decision-makers via phone and email to maximise sales opportunities.
- Prospect for new business while maintaining and growing your existing customer base to generate and close sales.
- Analyse and interpret sales data to prioritise workload and qualify opportunities effectively.
- Prepare accurate and compelling quotes and proposals tailored to customer needs.
- Report on sales activity using relevant data and systems.
Deliver exceptional customer service that earns positive feedback from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuously deepen your understanding of our product offerings and refine your sales techniques.
- Skills & Experience
- Strong stakeholder management skills, from initial rapport-building to engaging decision-makers with purchasing authority.
- Solid understanding of the sales cycle—from prospecting to closing.
- Clear grasp of what excellent customer service looks like and how to deliver it.
- Ability to identify buying signals and use persuasive communication to influence outcomes.
Confident verbal and written communication, with strong presentation skills.
- Proven ability to manage, prioritise, and execute tasks independently and effectively.
- Skilled in understanding customer needs, solving problems, and closing opportunities with minimal supervision.
- Capable of working independently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Strategic planning skills to build and manage a future sales pipeline.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Commercially astute with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in a B2B sales environment, ideally consultative, with a broad product portfolio.
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
