About The Opportunity:

Success in achieving company objectives will be largely dependent upon ability to derive fair pricing for the value of all services. The Revenue Management team is responsible for directing new pricing methodologies and supporting the broader organization on top-line and bottom-line growth efforts through fair, disciplined, data-driven pricing and strategies to accelerate revenue growth.

The responsibility of this role is to manage price performance for regions within Europe and the Middle East, including:

  • Building up and Managing annual price adjustment process for renewing subscription customers, ownership on country standard rate cards, ensuring margin goals are met
  • Supporting Sales success closing new customers with price guidance and approval tools and analysis
  • Managing new price performance initiatives, such as reducing the impact of discounts or concessions or improving discipline of fees related to high-value services
  • Designing and implementing improved pricing processes, analytics and tools
  • Reporting on price performance

This highly cross-functional role provides a platform to collaborate with partners in Sales, Marketing, Innovation & Product Management, Finance, HR, Operations, IT, Customer Care, Communications, and other groups. This is a high-exposure role at Iron Mountain that is responsible for driving significant revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align price strategy to support the business: develop trusted relationships with the leadership team to ensure the revenue management strategy is aligned to and supports the business strategy. Executing Price Guidance – Support the sales team as they win deals, reviewing pricing approvals, utilizing data to identify the most appropriate price to win.
  • Manage Annual Price Increase: Implement annual price increase, incorporating transactional customer data to identify a fair, value-based price adjustment.
  • Analytical Support: Provide analytical support for customer-facing teams – including the collection of customer financial and operational information from our business systems, then preparation of “price-to-win” analyses based on this information.
  • Customer Interaction :Develop trusted relationships with the MENAT leadership team and global Revenue Management team: Must be able to effectively interact with Sales, Account Management and other customers to whom support will be provided. Develop value-based pricing approaches for Marketing, Finance, Sales, Operations, and other stakeholders. Requires organizing and scheduling the workload related to support requests from the Sales and Account Management teams as well as setting achievable expectations.
  • Project Execution: Drive pricing projects that help identify, design and operationalize revenue and margin maximizing opportunities by understanding the buying behavior of our customers, determining the best combination of price and services and building tools and techniques to allow the field to execute our pricing initiatives.
  • Performance Reporting: Providing regular updates on price performance, converting data into actionable recommendations and identifying emerging trends and opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Strong academic record in a challenging program; business undergraduate or masters helpful
  • Background in price management, analysis, reporting, and customer negotiations is essential.
  • Comfort working across multiple geographies and functions, including Sales and Finance, is critical.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions from ambiguous data and identify emerging trends.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead and influence others.
  • Solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage projects with changing deadlines.
  • Must be highly competent with Microsoft Office, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English is a must, Arabic & French are a plus
