Do you want to inspire the next generation of STEM learners? As Partnership Manager for FIRST LEGO League, you’ll play a key role in strengthening partnerships, enabling growth, and ensuring impactful program delivery that reaches even more students worldwide. You’ll collaborate across global ecosystems, support local partners, and drive central initiatives that bring hands-on STEM learning to students everywhere.
We do not offer relocation for this position.
Core Responsibilities
- Inspire and enhance the capabilities of FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Operational Partners by serving as a dedicated point of contact, sharing standard processes, and providing essential support for their success.
- Ensure the strongest possible implementation of the FIRST LEGO League program to support anticipated growth in teams and students participating, fostering compliance and consistency throughout the process.
- Collaborate with partners to ensure the delivery of FIRST LEGO League’s strategic goals and targets to effectively reach more students, particularly in the classroom, tracking progress and follow-up processes such as the annual plan.
- Ensure optimal partner setup in the countries we manage.
- Work with internal and external partners to identify joint opportunities to reach more children in the classroom.
- Understand local educational, political, and CSR nuances to enable local ecosystems in favor of FIRST LEGO League with partners.
- Navigate through planning, implementing tactics, and fulfilling partner and country plans.
- Develop processes, tools, and ways of working for continuous improvement of partner development and performance

FIRST LEGO League plays an important role for both LEGO Education as well as FIRST. The program significantly enhances students’ learning experiences by fostering motivation and inspiration in STEM. It empowers students to discover their potential and capabilities, often revealing to them that they can achieve more than they initially believed.
Furthermore, the FLL Partner Manager helps to build cross collaboration between different units within LEGO Education as well as the FIRST ecosystems and ensures that we approach each country with the best fit possibilities for the students.
Do you have what it takes?
The preferred candidate has strong experience in managing partnerships, strategic planning, and executing business development initiatives. You demonstrate proficiency in working with numbers and possess a solid understanding of business operations, along with a strong grasp of the educational landscape and non-profit operations. Additionally, you possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively engage with partners. Finally, it will be an advantage if you have:
- An interest in STEM education and a commitment to supporting youth engagement.
- Experience with FIRST LEGO League or other STEM programs in schools
- Familiarity with processes in a multinational organization, including forecasting, budget planning, and annual planning
Fluency in English is a requirement; additional languages are a benefit.
