This role will be responsible for driving new designs as well as modifications and improvements, with a strong focus on manufacturability and assembly. The position will also lead cost-reduction and manufacturing transfer projects, collaborating with global teams and suppliers to deliver competitive and high-quality products.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical design activities for new CT detector development and design improvements
  • Ensure design quality by incorporating manufacturing and assembly process considerations
  • Drive cost-reduction initiatives and support manufacturing transfer projects
  • Plan and execute prototype assembly, evaluation, and reporting
  • Collaborate with international teams and suppliers to successfully deliver projects
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
  • Ct検出器における新規設計および改良設計のリード

  • 製造・組立工程を考慮した設計および設計レビューの実施

  • コストダウン施策および製造移管プロジェクトの推進

  • 試作品の組立、評価計画の立案およびレポート作成

  • 海外チームやサプライヤーとの協働によるプロジェクト推進

  • 若手エンジニアへの技術指導やレビュー対応

Qualifications / Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional experience in mechanical design
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD tools (e.g., Creo)
  • Proven track record in leading both new designs and design modifications
  • Experience in design for manufacturability and assembly (DFM/DFA)
  • Fluent-level Japanese and business-level English communication skills to drive global development work
  • Strong problem-solving skills, technical curiosity, and proactive mindset
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in a global environment
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with global teams and suppliers
  • 機械設計分野での豊富な実務経験(10年以上を目安)

  • 3d Cadソフト(Creo等)の使用経験

  • 新規設計から設計変更・改良まで一連の設計業務をリードした実績

  • 製造・組立工程を考慮した設計経験(Dfm/Dfa)

  • 日本語:流暢(Fluent)、英語:ビジネスレベルでのコミュニケーション能力(Business Level English)

  • 問題解決力、技術的探求心、主体的に行動できる姿勢

  • チームワークを重視し、グローバル環境で柔軟に対応できる方

  • グローバルチームやサプライヤーと連携できるコミュニケーション能力

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience in medical devices or precision equipment design
  • Hands-on experience in cost-reduction or manufacturing transfer projects
  • Experience in mentoring or supervising junior engineers
  • 医療機器または精密機器の設計経験
