Job Description Summary
Manage the USCAN/LATAM regional sourcing and procurement strategies across CAPEX aligned with the global category direction which represent approximately $100M in spend at GE Healthcare. Negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal contractual terms while ensuring internal stakeholder satisfaction. Leverage industry knowledge and market trends to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement in sourcing practices. Build relationships with critical business stakeholders to ensure current and future business requirement met.Job Description
Roles And Responsibilities
- Manage the bidding and contract negotiations for Facilities and MRO CAPEX (Construction and Plant P&E)
- Define and execute sourcing or category management strategies aligned with business goals.
- Coordinate with global sourcing leads to ensure regional strategies are in line with global strategic vision.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with GRE, AME, manufacturing, engineering, quality, and business teams in region.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide sourcing decisions.
- Drive cost savings, risk mitigation, and sustainability initiatives.
- Lead or support supplier transitions, audits, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor and report on category performance metrics and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality systems, and legal requirements.
- Support regional sourcing initiatives and projects.
Required Qualifications
- For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Sourcing & Sourcing Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience – 4 years).
- For roles in USA – Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
