By joining our CSRD assurance services, you will have the chance to be part of a cross-border team together with 3 other PwC territories and work for large international clients from different industries (technology, renewable energy, healthcare, finance, etc.) Learn more about best practices and new assurance methodologies triggered by CSRD. 

Depending on your previous experience, your role and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: 

  • Conduct financial and sustainability audits for the largest companies in Europe, ensuring compliance with ESRS, IFRS, and other reporting standards.  
  • Analyse sustainability metrics, such as greenhouse gas emissions, climate risks, diversity, inclusion, gender pay gap, and provide actionable insights 
  • Assess and consult clients on their double materiality assessment and strategy to balance financial and societal impacts. 
  • Develop expertise in sustainability and financial frameworks, including mapping dependencies, identifying bottlenecks, and escalating issues to clients.  
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability assurance into financial audits and to provide strategic recommendations 
  • Stay updated with the latest research and developments in sustainability practices to drive innovation and apply cutting edge technology in client solutions.  

What are we looking for? 

  • Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Accounting, Finance, Economics and Business or related field. 
  • Affinity towards sustainability and finance. Candidates with experience will be considered for a senior role. 
  • Proficiency in English and Bulgarian (second foreign language is an advantage) 
  • Experience in financial auditing and/or progress in ACCA - would be considered advantageous 
  • Strong project management and analytical skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
